Making Your Kurta Last: A Simple Care Guide

Wash cold, with friends of the same colour. Linen-cotton is sturdy, but hot water is how bright colours fade before their time.
Skip the bleach entirely — even on the white pajama, a gentle detergent does the job without yellowing the fabric.
Line dry in shade. Direct summer sun is a bleaching agent with good PR.
Iron warm, slightly damp. Linen-cotton presses beautifully when it still holds a little moisture; you'll get that first-day crispness back in one pass.
Store on a hanger, not folded, if you can spare the space. The mandarin collar keeps its shape and you skip half the ironing next time.
